A lifetime in the service of one science
For over fifty years, Nanu Maharaj has practised Vedic astrology — Jyotisha — the way it was meant to be practised: one person, one chart, one honest conversation at a time.
For most of that time, his work was known only to a few. He served as the personal astrologer to some of India's most successful industrialists and business families — people who could seek counsel anywhere in the world, and who returned to him year after year, generation after generation. Decisions of marriage, succession, new ventures and difficult seasons were weighed with his charts on the table.
That kind of personal, deeply prepared reading has always been quietly available to the very few. Nanu Maharaj believes it should not be.Having distilled his life's learning into six published volumes, he has decided the time has come to open his practice — so that the same care once reserved for boardrooms is available to any family, in any city, at any stage of life.

Jyotisha is one of the six Vedangas — the limbs of the Vedas — and the only one founded entirely on direct observation. As Nanu Maharaj writes, where other disciplines rest on debate, this one rests on the sky itself.
